Pretty, but tough.
Excellent condition but some holes had nearly unfair side slopes for drivers less than 300 yards. A few of the drainage swales were severe and in the fairway. Not in the "play very often" price range.

Solid Choice - Recommend
My wife and I wanted to play but no tee times at our normal haunts. We decided to take the drive and it was worth it. The course has character and is challenging but not overly difficult. The greens are small so be careful going for deep pins. I would recommend playing from the suggested tee boxes (see the sign at the first tee box) and you will enjoy!

Always A Good Play
Green’s We’re Fast Cart Path Only. The Course Is Too Big For That. Ground wasn’t Wet Enough For That. It Really Slowed Down Play And Made Shot Selection Tough Being So Far Away From The Cart.

A challenging course for February
The course was in very good shape for February, but the greens were a little slow. The main problem that I had was the tee boxes. As I am a senior on some of the holes the green tees were placed with the white tees making some of the par 4s play very long, much too long for my senior driver length. But I played with a nice father & son combo and had an enjoyable day.

I Highly Recommend This Course!
The only reason I gave course conditions 4 stars is because I played the course in the winter and I really don’t expect the course to be in tiptop condition in the winter time, unless the course was located in some tropical climate. But for Frederick Maryland in the dead winter, the course was in very good condition! Will definitely play this course again…. Lord willing
