Frog Hollow Golf Club
About
Frog Hollow Golf Club in Middletown boasts the title of "best public golf course" in Delaware. The course has a links-style layout that is challenging but still player-friendly enough to appeal to beginners, seniors, and juniors. The layout is wide open and quite forgiving but there are still plenty of hazards with which to contend. There are more than 50 strategically placed bunkers throughout the golf course. Their thoughtful placement makes up the bulk of the layout's challenges. There are ponds that come into play on six holes as well as tall native grasses that appear along the fairways and greens. The wind is often a factor on the course too and will test your accuracy even further. Frog Hollow Golf Club's par 3s and par 5s are manageable but the par 4s will test even the best players.

Great lauout
The course has a good layout. The staff is welcoming. Our favorite place to play.
Misty Day
Frog Hollow has a great layout. A little bit of everything. On a drizzlly day they let us drive from t to green. The course is cut through a development but the houses are never in play. Get a course description book from the clubhouse. Gives you a little information on each hole.
Round was amazing
Got an albatross on 2 and I’ll never forget this round, ended up shooting second lowest ever!
Great value
Greens are the best aspect of this course. Very large with lots of undulation and in great shape. Challenging but lots of fun.
Still a gem
The best part was the starter. He took several groups of ones twos and made 4somes
Best part the groups at 11 were all spread out and you actually felt like you were the only group out there. It was a great plan and what a day
Thx to the starter it was grand day in the course
Only con
Greens were slow but very smooth.
Very good time with our friendd
The location was perfect to meet our friends who live in southern Delaware. It is about 1 1/2 hours drive for them and about one hour from us in Havre de Grace. We liked the course and enjoyed the challenging greens
Super Course
Excellent layout, course.was well maintained. Fair but challenging. Highly recommend this course
Frog Hollow
Course in nice shape. Moderate difficulty. They do need someone out on the course to keep pace moving.
Hidden Gem
Absolutely a hidden gem of a golf course. Tee to green was excellent. In better condition than courses charging 3 times as much.
Very pleased
I’m your average hack golfer just like most of you. The course was in great shape. Greens were fast and they have a lot of undulation to them which makes for a somewhat tough but fun round. First time seeing a beverage cart out this year during the week, so A+ plus for that. Paid $36 a man with the hot deal offer. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and play again. Honestly I think it’s in a little better shape then Back Creek, for now. We’ll see what this summer brings.
