Renditions Golf Course
About
Renditions Golf Course is a unique layout that features replicas of holes from U.S. Open or PGA Championship venues. Given each hole is modeled after holes from around the world, the course offers plenty of variety ranging from parkland to links. Holes six through nine are replicas of Augusta National's famous Amen Corner. Like their inspiration, Renditions' versions are a formidable test. The golf course offers a round unlike any other. Nowhere else would you be able to get a taste of golf's most well known courses all in one place. After several hundred trees were added to the landscape, which was formerly the site of a sand mining operation, it was completely transformed into the perfect setting for golf, enhanced even further by the Patuxent River that flows nearby.

A Once-A-Year Round
I typically don't play Renditions except once a year or every other year. My daughter wanted to play, so I made the tee time. On a Friday morning it was $85, and I just don't see this course in that price point. Having said that, the course was in better condition than previous years in the July-August timeframe. Typically, there are burned out spots on the fairways and that black fungus all over the place; however, I didn't see any fungus and there were dirt spots, but they looked more like water damage than burn outs...mostly on the British Open Holes (#4-5). Players need to use the divot mix on the carts and fix their damage! The fairways pretty much were in good condition and the greens were very fast. The tee boxes, as other reviewers have mentioned, were terribly chewed up. And, there was very little sand in the bunkers--mostly packed dirt. After the novelty of the various replica holes wears off, this course just doesn't flow for me (that's why it's a once-a-year or longer round). The food in the restaurant is pretty good, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.
i want to try again course!!! Fantastic!
It was difficult, but it was fun, and each hall was unique and beautiful with a famous hall design.
Fun layout!
The bad, the tees need serious work, they must have gotten some king of disease, need to reseed,
Would be nice to have the story about each of the holes on the GPS system , maybe be with a picture of the real hole and then the actual Renee toon hole.
The good, it was fun to play some of the great holes of golf especially Amen Corner 11,12, & 13 as well as the Island Green par 3 at TPC Sawgrass.
Poor conditions
The tee boxes were all messed up and patchy. The greens were baked and dry. A ton of pitch marks in the green. You are honestly paying a ton of money to play sawgrass and amen corner in my opinion. Take your money else where.
course always nice, does get a lot of play and people need to do better job of fixing marks.
Very Nice
Very nice day at Renditions. This course of replica holes is interesting to play. Greens were in very good condition and the putts rolled beautifully. Two of the 'replica' greens (the 13th (replica of island green at TPC) and the 17th (WingedFoot 7th)) have way too much slope -- much more slope than the real greens at TPC and WingedFoot.
Rally at Renditions
Excellent course. Excellent staff. Great experience with my foursome. Definitely won brownie points with the fellas who were playing here for the first time.
Buzz Kill
The reason for the 2 star rating for Renditions despite perfectly acceptable condition of the course is that for the 1st time in my 39 years of playing golf I had a hole in one. It was on the TPC replica island hole. My playing partner had his name on the plaque in the dining room for his hole in one in 2000. When we told the staff they were congratulatory but said they do not put names on the plaques anymore. They have 5 plaques and there is room for more names. The staff said if I wanted to commemorate my achievement I could buy a $30 pin flag. This is not a policy that endears loyal customers to remain loyal customers. I guess I will have to be content in my knowledge of this event. The wings in the restaurant were excellent, perfectly crispy and the bartender very friendly and attentive.
