Outings on weekends should stop
If you are going to allow groups of mode then 16-20 players then you should let those playing behind these groups that they might not finish and reduce their green fees. Playing Sunday before NFL seasons starts and had to play the front nine twice or we would not have finished. Then second week in a row no coke just the coke products no one wants. This is a refelection of Management.
Overall Experiences of Links at Challedon
As the MISGA Representative at Challedon, I have the need to interact with the entire staff at Challedon to organize tee times, dining faciilities, rates, amenities, etc. In all aspects, I have found the staff to be very helpful, pleasant, and willing to help in any way they could. The course is generally in excellent shape, the starters extremely competent, and the food of excellent quality and generous portions.

Fantastic course but Good price using GolfNow
This is my home course and I absolutely love playing here. Corse layout is challenging and fun. Lots of variety that keeps me coming back. Greens have been a little slower but in great shape. I would play here more but the prices have been raises to over $70 but GolfNow has some great deals occasionally so I’m always checking because this round was $32. Staff is always friendly.
The pace was a little slower and a ranger could have helped speed it up

Haven't Played Challedon in a While...
I used to play Challedon several times a year, but haven't been there since the pandemic. I had seen some comments about "an infestation of ground bees on the greens" and that it was recently aerated after I booked the tee time. However I have to say the course was in good condition. The tee boxes were a little shaggy, but nothing too bad, and there were little stones/rocks in some of the bunkers but easily removed (which USGA Rules now allow). The fairways were green and in good condition. There was only one hole on the front 9 which showed a little "wear and tear." The aeration was not a big problem and we only saw ground bees on three greens (One of the workers came out on #2 green while we were there to try to kill them...with a racket, no less!) Pace of play was excellent--we were done in a little less than 4 hours. All in all, I think some of the feedback is unfounded. Challedon is in great condition and I will definitely play again.

Horrible value
If you enjoy slow play, bee infested greens, and ragged tee boxes then Challedon is the place for you!
As a bonus, you get nice little sand mounds on the greens to putt around. For the low price of $80 you can enjoy a round that’ll take you into the 5+ hour range.

Weekend Warriors
Like the course. Pace of play was really bad. When spoke with Marshall was rude and said suck it up it’s the Weekend Warriors. Course is in good condition but Tees could be shaved more. Friendly staff otherwise. Won’t let one Marshall’s attitude stop me from coming here.

Played round today in 3. 1/2 hours as a 4some. Overall course is in great shape. Staff was friendly .will go again.
