Great Deal
Got a 9 hole walking rate for $9. It's an old, short course but fun. The greens were spectacular. The guy at the desk is a nice guy. He's always there and not a jerk.
A nice afternoon walk
County maintained short executive-style course. Greens were recently aerated. It was a great day to shoot 9 (this is a 9 hole course) and the course was in decent shape.
Great Value, great condition, easy course
New to sligo Creek (5th time playing), but this course is great. It is short (mostly par 4's at 240-260 yards). So its like playing long par 3's. But it is a great course to work your clubs and try different approaches.
The course is in Great shape. Greens are perfect right now (not slow and not fast). Tee boxes leave something to be desired but for 12-20 a round you cant beat the price.
Get out to Sligo before the weather breaks... and then again next spring... So glad it is still open
Great 9 holes
For a 9 holes executive course, this place is great. The location is fantastic, the course is well maintained. There's no driving range for warm up but they do have a net you can hit into.
Great Short 9 hole course
This course offers all the great amenities a golfer could ask for in a short 9 hole course. Not an opportunity for driver usage, but plenty opportunity to work on your short game for sure. The course is maintained very well and is located in a wonderful and easy to get to location. I recommend this course to get your quick fix in and just to be at one with nature, self, and your clubs. Beware you may lose balls if you don't hit the right shot you plan for, plenty of dogs, hills, and water. It is a pretty tricky course, but fun!!! Hit them straight and have fun!! IN THE HOLE!
