Great dollar value
It's an older course with two some areas having poor drainage following rain. The friendliness of the staff, the challenge of an old time type course with some tough lies, a good pace of play (4hrs or less) and great prices make this a course a good choice for the average Joe.
outstanding greens, fairways were wet due to recent rains
best greens in the area. course rambles through the forest adjacent to the Pocomoke River. The soil contains a lot of clay and is slow to dry, however it is well maintained.
Early in th Season
It has been a cool, wet spring and there was a lot of standing water on the course, in the sand traps, and in the ruts on the cart paths. The greens had been recently aerated. This is a nice course off the beaten path. Middle of the week, late-morning, the pace of play is usually pretty quick. While this course has never been in pristine condition, it is a nice and challenging course. Almost every hole has large groves of pines guarding the left and right sides of the fairway. If you don't keep your shots in the fairway, you'll be wasting strokes punching out of the woods. For the money, you will be pleased playing Nassawango.
