Good day to get a round of golf
Greendale Course was in good condition on that day. The greens were ok and tees still need TLC. One thing that was of concern was pace of play. The group I was playing did not like the fact that the group behind us started practicing swinging on same tee , simultaneous with our last guy teeing off. Was odd , charged it to non educated Golf etiquette of some people.
Good value
It’s a good course for your dollar. It’s a good level of difficulty too to test your game as a novice.
Exceedingly good
The course was clean the fairways were magnificent and the pace of play was exceptional.
Greenest course in DMV!!!
Fantastic course and staff.
Greens a lil thick and slow but really luscious and smooth
Course is beautiful and playing fantastic
Terrible course!!!
The course has no practice area for chipping, no driving range, a poor putting green and the course has many areas still under maintenance. I wouldn't recommend this course for players looking to record scores, it's more of a swing it and wing it kinda course. The Greens are horrendous ATM
My coach was attempting to get me dialed in at the driving net before our round when we were very rudely told to leave the bay by some elderly instructor cause he had a lesson he was about to start...with the course only having one net for driving they should accommodate its guests better and set times for lessons at a different location or even a less busy time. All in all I had a horrible experience at the course and I will not be returning or recommending this course to anyone.
Crammed
I understand daylight savings and trying to finish before the sun comes down…but that’s no reason to cram everyone out on the course without any time in between…Although your thought process was more people on the course at once means faster play…it actually caused a jam and delays! My group was asked to start 5 min before out tee time and approached the tee box with 2 other groups waiting to tee off lol. What was the rush for? Course conditions were terrible…greens were like a game of minesweeper! Overall pace of play was terrible due to staff decisions to cram players onto the course without any time in between. For the price, you can play at a far nicer course…
