Hanover Golf Club

This is a descent course and really like it. I wish there was a walking rate because paying riding rate isn’t right IMHO…great walking course, but you better be ready for hole 6 because it’s not a punk…straight uphill…

Only small complaint. Fairways were not mowed but I believe there has been a lot of rain lately. . Very fun course lots of elevations changes. Greens soft and smooth. Used all clubs.

Great course and beautiful grounds. Holes could be better marked for those that are not regulars but will play again.

Nice course , busy but moved well . Surprised by some of the elevation changes . One short par 4 front nine straight up and par 4 on back nine straight down . Tees fairways sand traps very good shape . Greens good shape but really slow I mean really slow . Fairways are tight lined by trees but a lot of the par 4s and 5s short so long iron or hybrid off tee places you inside 150 to 100 for wedge to green. Will play again and recommend give it a try . Didn’t hit the driving range or putting surfaces before round . Bar was closed but able to pickup beer pro shop and sit relax after round in bar area . Switching nines doesn’t take you back to clubhouse so have your drinks and snacks.with you . Lol sign on 18 th tee restrooms and clubhouse 8 minutes away . Try it and enjoy .

Pro who runs the course did not show until 7:50 for 8:10 tee time, flat tire. Stuff happens though it put a damper on any kind of warmup. Tee boxes and fairways in good shape, bunkers were in better shape than most courses lately. Greens had a bit of algae damage. Even though they were cut in the morning, still damp they were stimping at about a 4 and as they dried out they were about a 6; basically so slow they were unputtable. I understand the need to protect during steamy weather but that slow is ridiculous. Rough was kept at a reasonable level. Several twosomes out behind our threesome made a us feel a bit pushed the whole round. Would have let them through but having to let 3 or 4 through would have been worse. Hanover is a good course that continues to improve and is normally worth playing. The restaurant/bar is great going into after round for both food and adult beverages but we did not have time this day.

Played early morning-no crowds,course in good to very good shape....very enjoyable!

Great course layout. Greens could use more maintenance. Bunkers had rocks.

As a semi private course the members apparently do not care about their course. Cigarettes on the greens, sand traps not raked( numerous divots and foot prints
