Boutetourt Golf & Swim Club

We live 65 miles from course and after waking to a pouring rain, I was dreading the day ahead. The rain had subsided by the time we left, but then we ran through 2 more downpours on the way. After we arrived at the course, the guy at the counter told us we were good to go after the threesome on the tee. We had one of best days of golf in a long time! Apparently the weather had kept most people away that day and we played without being held up or anyone pressing us from behind the whole round. Even with the cloudy sometime misty day, the course looked good and we did notice some great views. The layout is pretty player friendly even with the hills and doglegs. The course is relatively short, but with my game lately I really enjoyed it. They must have recently had some bad storms and there was some tree damage around but nothing to impede play. A lot of the greens show repaired ball marks, but they rolled great and putted true. We made it through the round and didn't get wet and my friends and I agreed we would be making a return to this enjoyable course.

Tree damage but nothing you can do about mother nature. Bugs became a pain in the end.

For the money these greens are hard to beat. Great views of the Blue Ridge beauty and some really great holes. A few holes are extremely short but usually the green speed (some of the quickest around) welcome the wedge in. Looking forward to coming back!

The only input for this process is eliminate the taxes when booking on line.

I thought the course conditions improved alot. The greens were much better.

The golf course was in good condition. The tee boxes were good. Fairways were in good condition. The greens were excellent.

Pro shop person friendly and club pro was cordial and welcoming. BCC has some green issues but the view is worth the experience. I like the course.

This course is well maintained, offers great scenery and can be challenging for all levels of golfers. The staff is very friendly and professional.

Staff super friendly was able to start earlier than the tee time. Great view of the mountains specially around fall time.Fairways were in v good condition.Greens are lot more challenging compared to other courses in the valley(Ashley,Hanging rock).

The golf course at Botetourt Golf and Swim overall is excellent. Everything is well kept the staff is friendly and the course fits a wide range of players. The greens are actually pretty difficult to putt. They have varying degrees of slope and are quite fast. Again overall the course is great. I will be returning.

Watch out if you play Bot CC. The greens are lightning quick but fair.

The course was in very good shape. Greens were fast and offered a tough but fair putting experience. The views of the Blue Ridge Mountains were outstanding. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.

This is a fun course but the summer heat has hurt it. The greens are burnt from a close cut and dried. All water coolers on course were empty,I mean all of them. On a hot day it is nice to have cold water. The Women's tees several were not cut unless they were with men's tees. Course is showing signs of summer with several burnt patches in fairways. Value was good-pace very slow.

Course was in good condition. Threesome played in just over 3 hours

Overall this course is one of my favorite courses to play. The views are amazing. The course is challenging but fun to play.

Playing this course can satisfy all skill levels, from the hacker to the scratch golfer!
