Nice Layout
Got there late but the staff were very understandable and professional and let us play even though they were pack and busy. Course not long but nice layout where you have to hit the right shot.
Good experience
First time playing the course and showed up 8 minutes prior to tee time thanks to a crash on 95. Staff and starter were all very friendly and helpful. I ended up getting paired with three other singles since the course was packed on a beautiful fall Saturday. The course is somewhat short, but requires a touch of accuracy off the tee thanks to water and woods outlining most holes. This is more of a course management course, rather than a bomb it and go course. There were many dog legs, but less elevation changes than many courses in this area. Luckily, one of the guys I got paired with was a member so he helped give some hints off the tees. The course was in fantastic shape. The greens were tip top and the fairways have a nice lush semi-dormant Bermuda. The only thing that knocked it down a star for me was the pace. There were some seriously slow groups out there and nobody pushing them along. I get it, it's probably the last nice Saturday in a while and there are a ton of new golfers thanks to the pandemic. I'd like to go back and walk this course on a weekday just to see how it plays then. I'll be back to this course for sure.
Nice golf course!
The course is bit distant from NOVA. But, it is worth the drive.
The course overall is maintained very well. Pace of play is good. I believe this gives the players enough time to do any repairs when needed.
Staff is super friendly. I arrived 5 mins before my tee time due to traffic on I-95 (+30 mins). I apologized for being late. The starter was cool about it. All the staff, pro shop and the grill, super friendly.
I have been around various courses in NOVA. Lee's Hill just became my favorite.
The course layout may not pose much challenge. But, the scenery is good enough to cover it.
OK track, but greens have gone down hill
Played here earlier in the year right after Covid, and was in great shape... But after the summer heat, aeration, and rain, the greens are horrible. not smooth whatsoever.
This was my 3rd time here, driving almost 2 hours...Unfortunately, I don't think I will be coming back.
Great Day of Golf
This course has been in good shape all summer long and if my friends wanna play a round this is the go to course, Never a disappointment, now play can be slow at times but the parking lot is always FULL. .
Range Balls are Terrible, Slow pace of play.
$8.00 for about 30 range balls and almost half of them had cuts/slices in their covers and were useless. Pace of play started of terrible almost 2 hours to play 4 holes, we finally played through a few groups and had about 7-8 holes at a good pace. Still a 5 hour round which is terrible. Where is the ranger to speed people up? And if you aren’t going to have a ranger speed up play then send out the beverage cart so we can drink enough to not care that the course was overbooked! I used to play here quite often a few years back and I hate to say that this course is taking a change for the worse.
Birthday Celebration
Enjoyed the course, need attention - tee boxes and fairways.
Scorched fairways
Fairways and tee boxes are completely scorched/dead. Whereas greens are overly irrigated. Not at all worth the money in current state.
Greens are their best feature
The greens are very nice. Fairways definitely need some work. Staff was friendly. Pace of play was acceptable.
Great course
I played this course when it first opened. I now live in Florida. This was the first time in nineteen years that I have been back. It’s one of my favorite courses to play. Great layout and surrounded by trees.
