Home course!
I consider this my home course now that there’s no Goise Creek or Westpark (I live in Leesburg)
Good not great
Grass was incredibly long and the rough was impossible to get out of. Course conditions were lack luster but the course had a lot of character and I had fun. Will definitely play here again despite the conditions and the ridiculously slow pace on the back 9. Fair for the price could very well be exceptional with improvements.
Nice day to walk a course
I play Herndon quite regularly. The clubhouse is a great vibe and the staff are all great. Glad to get out on a very nice weathered day in April. The layout is shorter but I've seen the best of golfers struggle to break 80 here. The greens will be getting aerated next week but the punches really never seem that bad. Today unfortunately had a slower group in front which was skill level not lack of etiquette, and for that it was more accepting. The group behind us lacked patience as one of the guys hit over our heads three times. Nevertheless, I'll continue playing here frequently as I find this course to be one of Northern Virginia's best.
I will play again later. Here needs renovation now.

Great day
Overall, I always enjoy this course and it is well maintained. The carts could use an upgrade but all in all, I will continue to play this course.
Slow Round
Very slow round. Quite busy but certainly could have been faster.
Early morning tee time
Don’t really play early morning as much but found it enjoyable for Herndon Centennial GC. The pace of play was great and even with the weather colder at start, the course fairways to greens were in great condition, as you were the first ones for the day to play. Just need to bear with greens maintenance doing work on the course at that start of day.
First time in long while playing early morning
Early morning tee time turned out to be a pleasant experience. Pace of play better than expected., finished in 4 hrs. Course looked great in early morning. Only drawback was Course maintenance was also happening at at time. Nevertheless the course condition was nice in the early morning.
Great course for the price
Love this course for the price you pay. Always in good shape considering the traffic it gets.
