I recently played the course in the last coupe weeks and was very pleased with all the work they've done. I believ its one of the most fun public courses to play in Virginia! The course is looking great and the new staff is really friendly and helpful. It is definitely becoming my Home Course. Best layout in VA!

Recently played the newly reopened South Wales Golf Course in Culpeper Va. New management has brought this course back alive. Improvements include, new tee boxes, recondition fairways and sand traps. The driving range included both grass and mat tee boxes. Even thought these improvements were recently completed, I believe this course is destined to be one of the best public courses around.

I played this course in 2013 & 2014 and was disappointed in it condition and staff. That all has changed. Based on my experience in early May of this year, I will add this course back on my high priority list to paly again and again.
