The Lakes Course at Twin Lakes Golf Course in Clifton, Va., has the layout, but it doesn't have the polish. Fairways are average; the rough is forgiving; the greens are receptive to good shots but agonzingly slow. If you play the course in the morning, be sure your putter has an X-Shaft.
Still, this is one of the few golf courses in the Northern Virginia area that is walkable, with gentle relief through the fairway, and the next tee is never very far from the last green. The price is right and the course is playable. Just remember to give your putts a little extra.

Always like the old style layout. Have found some relics of golf on that course. (golfers and golfballs) If they would just cut the greens down it would be a real treat.
