Well, I went to the Oaks at Twin Lakes and I recommend this course to anyone in the Fairfax and Washington D.C. area. I loved it. It's cheap, easy, good for beginners and experts.
They have holes that are up to a par 5 and as low par 3. It's perfect. The only problem about it is that the holes, grass and rough are a little out of shape. Not saying that its ghetto or anything, but it's not like pro material. This place has variants of sand bunkers and water hazards. I give Twin Lake seven stars out of 10.

Our tee time (at Forest Park Golf Course) was for 2:38 p.m. We didn't get off until 3 p.m. After waiting for at least two groups at hole Nos. 1, 2 and 3, we were waiting for 25 minutes to tee off at hole 4. We left in disgust after waiting on the fifth hole for people in front of us to hit onto the green, and got back to the clubhouse at 5 p.m. Did they offer anything? Of course not. It's our fault for playing there. Nice to kiss $50 goodbye. Unless you like a nice long wait, don't play here.
