About
Situated in the foothills of Bull Run Mountain, Bull Run Golf Club has a beautiful woodland setting that is conveniently located just minutes from many historic Civil War sites. The course plays through mature forests and across lush, grassy meadows. There are also several ponds that come into play throughout. The expansive layout covers over 450 acres, allowing plenty of room for the native flora and fauna. The risk-reward layout has plenty of challenges for more daring hitters but it also offers wide fairways that are molded to steer the ball towards the center. The landing areas are generous but they are often framed by grassy hollows, bunkers, or mature trees. Bull Run is challenging, but playable, which is why the club is considered one of the best golf courses in the D.C. area.

Fun course great shape
Course was in really good condition. Greens were really good. Unfortunately, the range does not drain well and it was closed, so no ability to wattmeter up. Front nine played super. Fast and the back nine was very slow for some reason. Tee boxes need more care. Overall great day and I will be back soon.

I love this course! Every hole is unique and challenging! Well manicured and groomed!
Great course
Course is really a good one. Almost every hole gives you a plenty of landing area. One of my favorite courses in the area.
Always enjoy playing this course
This is my go to course in the Haymarket area of VA. This was a holiday off tee time and even starting at 230 was able to drive off the 18. But it was a guess after that. I love playing here.
Good course, little service
The course was in good shape being winter and as always enjoy the lay out and nature. But…….No water on course, no tee boxes, cart path only, and charge full price. They had a cart lady for once and helped. Basically they have few people managing course and charging full price with amenities now.
