Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club
About
Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club offers the traditional links course reminiscent of those found in the British Isles, situated amidst Virginia's horse country. The club gets its name from the land's former use, a raspberry field. The scenic terrain overlooks to Catoctin Mountains and there are still a few raspberry bushes dotting the course. By far the layout's most formidable challenges come from the deep, stacked pot bunkers that make it truly feel like a classic Scottish golf course. There are also water hazards on a few holes. The course's signature is the par-4 third hole, which is long but plays downhill all the way. The 10th hole, another par 4, is one of the toughest. The landing area is generous off the tee but there is a creek and pond to the left and fairway bunkers on the right.

Challenging course in great condition
A nice course in a great location, well maintained for current conditions. Staff is great, organized and friendly.
Challenging but gorgeous course
Course was in great condition and adjusted well to covid. Always a more challenging course to play but love the environment. Gorgeous setting friendly and helpful staff; would definitely recommend to friends.
good value
the course was very wet but the greens rolled great and the course was in great shape.
Challenging course but loads of fun.
Heavy rain the night before, so cart path only. Fairways were in good shape, but greens were a little patchy due to all the rain in April. I walked the course for Social Distance guidelines. No problem keeping up due to cart path only, but I don't think I would walk Raspberry Falls again (very hard terrain).
Had a great round, very enjoyable.
Nice course...COVID19 or not..
Have played here numerous times, one of my favorites. Certainly one of the prettiest in the area. Challenging, but fair. Greens were FAST today! Staff very professional and they had things squared away wrt COVID19 prep.
This course has to be one of my go-to courses
I have been coming over for years and never been disappointed. Beautiful scenery and well-maintained arrangement and amenities. One thing though, I hope they don’t charge for the range balls for players.
Much Improved!
We returned to Raspberry Falls after a poor experience back in July and it was amazing. Course conditions improved 100% and was obvious to us that they have really steeped up the maintenance program. The course is certainly challenging but fair. Clubhouse is really nice and lots of food and drink alternatives. Go play and enjoy it!!
Making a Comeback From August 2019
What a difference a few months make! Greens are much better and run true. Fairways coming back. Come next spring this course will be fully recovered. This goes for all golf courses - why are people so lazy to fix their ball marks? It takes 5 seconds. No matter what course I play I end up fixing 3 ball marks on every green. Fortunately I didn't have to fix many ball marks at Raspberry other than my own.
Nice track
Very friendly and helpful staff, and a nice course layout.
There were a few tee boxes and greens in need of attention/repair.
