Hooper's Landing Golf Course
About
Hooper's Landing Golf Course (formerly known as "Seaford Golf & Country Club") sprawls across more than 200 acres of gently rolling terrain. Constructed in 1949, the course has a classic design that is accessible for players of all skill levels. There are some tight holes that will make you think twice before pulling out the driver but they are nicely balanced by some wide-open holes where you can grip it and rip it. Though the golf course is relatively short at 6,725 yards from the back tees, the small, well bunkered greens offer plenty of challenges. The approaches to the greens demand accuracy, which will be further tested by water hazards and trees. Hooper's Landing Golf Course begins with a tricky dogleg right, a par 4 with a green that is not only heavily guarded by bunkers but it also sits above the fairway.

Great Course
Enjoyed the round. Great mix between original nine and new nine. Fun to play and enjoyable. Straight forward layout with no tricks. Play Hooper's Landing if you are in the area.
Winter Round
For a Delaware course in January, it was in great shape. Played it where it was all day.. Greens rolled really well.
Hidden gem
We have played Hooper’s several times and are always amazed at how nice it always is. From the friendly staff to the course conditions it is always a worthwhile play. The layout is varied with tree lined dog legs to links like holes and the Bermuda grass fairways are always a treat to play off of.
Best golf value for the frugal golfer
The course is fair and has two personalities. The original 9 holes are wood lined and you have to be straight off the tee. The later added 9 holes are more forgiving which allows my big slices to still have an chance to reach the green from off the fairway. Pretty easy to see your target and find your ball. This course , like many is working on a budget and utilizes its funds very appropriately. Very lucky to have course where the average joe can feel comfortable. Best course for the money for miles around.
A great value
Nice layout, good value for the money. A fun course to play.
Hoopers Landing
Nice course but the greens need just a little work.
Windy day but a beautiful course
Went on a windy fall day.Wish it was like the day before..When I first arrived, I saw the holes right near the clubhouse and thought it was going to be long, and kind of boring. Did not realize the cartpath would lead me across to 10 holes in a nature perserve environment. Grass was alittle high, and leave are always an issue in the fall, so challenge to find those balls off the fairway, but expect some difficulties in the fall. Really a nice public course with some decent challenges and well placed water and bunkers on a couple hole. Overall I would say firmly to play if able.
Great shape for all the rain
They have worked very hard to get rid the water and keep the course playable agree all tyne rain we have had. Very friendly staff. .
Great Value
Nice course with layout that is fair for an average golfer like myself. Good condition and really good value for the money. Will play it again when traveling this way.
