This course in in great shape even with all the rain we have had! The new owners/ management have really turned this place around!!!

It is okay to play. It may be a little difficult for higher beginners.

Westwinds for the price is a dynamite course. Some challenging holes, and watch your ball placement doer you will be hitting on many sloped fairways. Great course for the cost! If you walk, be prepared for a hilly back nine.

This was my first time playing this course. The condition of the course was very good considering the recent rain storm. The lay out of the course was challenging depending on which tee box you decide to use. Each hole was different some with considerable vertical change. Most fairways were narrow and tree/home lined. So accurate tee shots are a must. There are some blind shots but no major problems. Club house has good food and cold beer. Driving range was closed but looked good. Andrew at the pro shop was very friendy and helpful. I would play this course again and recommend for you to give it a try.

Great Value Challenging Course Will come back again

Overall we were satisfied with the staff and the condition of the course after virtually 48 hours of rain... The only complaint we had where four groups ahead of us with slow play that cost us to quit our round and get a rain check

Course was in good condition. First nine are easier than the back nine. As one of the staff told me, tongue in cheek, "the first nine builds your confidence, but the back nine destroys it". Many of the holes are challenging, but fair, but one hole is decidedly unfair and that is the par 5 13th. There is a long downward stretch of the fairway, where you would normally be landing your second shot, that has a severe right to left slope and everything that lands on the fairway ends in a wilderness on the left, where you are bound to lose the ball. The difficulty of this hole is out of proportion to the rest of the course.

Primo greens though a little hard. Overall in good condition and we'll maintained. Knowing course layout a big help.

Everything was improved ; Green is very fast, fairway is well maintained. The rough grass were a little too hard to square-off. The other thing I want to mention is that there,s no course layout at the tee box so the player can guess where and how to approach.

Outstanding very difficult course. It is not for a beginer or novice golfer.

Glad to see new ownership, they seem to really care about the golf experience. The pub was open and served some really good food and service was very friendly. We actually got to go off early due to a no show, the starter was on the ball and gave us a friendly send off. The whole staff seemed to enjoy working there. Best attitude I've seen in a long time.

This course is in great condition as always and you do have to think about your shots on the holes.

fairways and greens in excellent condition / challenging layout especially when wind in play / tests every club in the bag

The staffs were all nice and considerate, and the course was easy in the beginning but got hard on the end. If you like the change, then this is it.
Overall it's a good golf place.

I thoroughly enjoyed my outing. The course layout is challenging but easy to read. Very well maintained considering the time of year and the amount of recent precipitation. The food at the clubhouse was excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I had was the somewhat gas station like condition of the men's bathroom.

The course was in good condition for the time of the year we played. December 28, 2013. The greens were still a bit fast. Paired up with another couple and never ran into anyone or upon us. Course was somewhat busy because of the nice weather we were having for December.

This course took me by total surprise. For the price you pay to play here, you would think it would look like hackers paradise. But it was in AMAZING SHAPE FOR ANYTIME OF YEAR! Greens were perfect, grass cut, leaves not a factor. Very well maintained! Just one thing, its a long course and the par 5s are brutal, one of which is a Z shape downhill leaning left the whole way! Still tremendous value, great staff, a course that is obviously cared about. Go to WW.

West Winds is a tough course. It's not one for a novice.

I enjoyed playing this course. I am a low 90's golfer on average courses. This is a very difficult course and I was able to score a 94, which I was excited about. The starter got us out right away and kept the other groups moving, so we were able to finish 18 holes in four hours. The price of $28 was great for my wallet.
