Fun Course
What a fun course. Not super long, but a little tight and I kept the driver in the bag most of the day. I would highly recommend this course to other golfers and the price at $25.00 per golfer with cart included is a great value.
Pricey, but good
Me and my gf went and had a great time. We were paired with a couple of the same skill!
Favorite course
I continue to like this course. I drive 65 miles each way to play this course as it is the course that provides me the most fun. Shot bad this round but still enjoyed the round.
Not my first time and won't be my last
I like this course. Not too long or difficult. In good condition. Not great. Some brown spots on the course were circled with paint (I'm assuming identifying them to be fixed). The cart path is horrendous. Spent most of the time driving down the grass next to the cart path. Carts are new and nice with a screen showing location, distance, etc. Don't bother scoring using the cart, it is a pain. Just use a printed scorecard. Also, there were tournaments on two nearby courses which backed this course up. Not a marshal to be found. My son and I were playing with two experienced and good golfers which meant we had a fast pace of play. There were numerous times, especially on the back nine that it backed up two groups "deep". Which slowed the day down but it was nice out so I didn't mind (the two other gentlemen we got paired with weren't quite as happy about it). To me, it was good golf, on a nice course and for the price nothing to complain about. Also, don't stray off the with cart, as it will shut down on you and you will need to back it up to where you are supposed to be.
Fun and Challenging course
It is a really nice course with nice views. If you like a challenging course this is a good one. The only improve would be to repave the cart paths as they are a little rough. I would recommend this course to anyone as it is one of the best courses in NOVA.

For the heat of the day, course was in great shape - greens were fast all day long but consistent.
A little bit of a drive but....
This course is in the Front Royal area. It is a nice, but relatively short course. There are some nice elevation changes and some beautiful scenery. The men's whites are pretty close to the women's tees on almost every hole. I loved how quiet it was and the staff was extremely pleasant. The rough is extremely rough, so they are rewarding accuracy. The carts had screens to show the hole layout and distance which was nice since it was our first time playing there. The first tee is just next to the driving range, so if you hit left you may not find your first ball. After that is was a really nice day and some pretty decent golf at a reasonable rate. Will try the north course next time but I would come back.
This course is well maintained.
Course is good except cart path.
I think car path should be paved to prevent the dirt..
