The Gauntlet Golf Club

The only good thing is the layout of the course and could be amazing if maintained. Apparently the management company that runs this place is just gouge people and rake in the proceeds without doing any maintenance. The greens were atrocious with dead black spots throughout and they rolled like plinko board. The tee boxes were pitted and filled with crab grass or just dirt. The fairways and rough were indistinguishable for the most part and filled with crab grass. The pace of play was ridiculously bad with no marshals and slow people being inconsiderate regarding place of play…waited on average of 10 minutes oon the tee box after finishing the prior hole with our foursomes.

To management company….the price is not even close to the conditions of the course and the effort you are putting in. The experience was 1 out of 10 with the only positive being the layout. You need to give folks refunds and the rating of this course is no where near 4 stars more like 1 star.

The Gauntlet is one of the top corses in the area. It is easy to book tee times,; the staff is very friendly helpful; and the bar and food service is great. The course is demanding and the greens challenging. Makes a golfer come Bach for more

This is a great course to challenge your skills. Wonderful staff.

Great fun course, especially for the prices. Pretty well kept too. Forgiving course as well.
Will do deals too for half off occasionally too.

Course has a very chalk layout built over hill terrain. Greens have plenty of movement that’s adds to the difficulty if in the wrong location.

I hope I am not being too harsh. In fall, it’s difficult to maintain course due to leafs everywhere but the course was open. So I expected greens and fairways to be leaf free but wasn’t the case. Couldnt find ball in fairways. Putting was impossible due to leafs everywhere,

Course looked good with the exception of about 3-4 holes that had some roughy looking greens. Bunkers where plush and fairways where good.

The course was in pretty good shape except the greens were a little rough but not terrible. Has some tricky holes but all in all a very nice course.

The course was in good condition. The staff there is always pleasant and great to deal with. Today's pace of play was not good. 5 groups on one hole due to a tournament and FROG's After getting through the 1st 9 it was perfect.
