Interesting "little" course
Fun little course-- a couple good holes with really gorgeous views. The course could certainly use some manicuring though, some burned out spot on the greens and fairways. If you do play, many holes you should leave the driver in the bag.
the course has many great features
This was my first time golfing there and I have nothing but good things to say about the course. First very challenging. Secondly the price was great and the course is beautiful. I would like to come back a few times before the weather changes.
Challenging course when playing from the rough.
Nice course. Very playable when hitting from the fairway. Need to plan shots due to course layout. Hitting for distance will cause ball to go out of bounds.
Good greens, too many tricked up dog legs and lay up areas

Unique features to the course
The course has a unique set-up, and some holes you will have to scope out entirely before playing. It is short and manageable, and can be played by anyone of any skill level.
Ok course to play.
No driver needed. Great for short game. Pace of play was very slow but over all an ok course to play for the value.
Beautiful challenging course for a great price
This course was beautifully landscaped and taken care of. For the price it was one of the better and more challenging courses I have played in Northern VA.
A technical course where you have to choose your clubs carefully
A super fun course where you have to think golf and have clear strategy on what to´do on every hole. I used alot of iron 4 (200y)of tee to get a good lay up for the next shot. The course guide was very helpful and if you follow it you'll shoot a low score. The only downside was the lack of a proper driving range otherwise it was a great golf experience with some really nice views.
Course has potential
Some of the fairways need work and the greens looked like someone was wearing spikes.
very close to a lot of homes
the signs on every tee that say errant shots are your responsibility are very distracting. that is like putting a sign in front of every lake that says don't hit it in the water.
buy food before going on the course, the shack on 7/12 has nothing good, bad $3.50 hot dogs, buy food at the clubhouse before you go out
homes are in play
Put away your driver on this course
Use your brain and keeping patient is important. Playing smart is better than trying overpower the course.
This land could be used for something much beter than this.
This course is stuffed into a small tract of land that and feels stuffed in. I think they could have 9 great holes here but the way the course is stuffed in it is too short on many holes. There are some that they really should just get rid of... I shot 67 with two double bogies. Both because I took the advice of my playing partners and it blind shots that we couldn't find. I think the group in front of us took at least one.
Excellent opportunity to improve your game.
This course is not overwhelmingly difficult but it does provide a challenge. It has a good combination of dog-leg holes and water holes and even holes with both. Like every other course I have played, you really do have to keep it in the fairway or find yourself looking for your ball in thick rough. Fairways are well groomed but with some holes there is dense growth after the short rough areas. The greens are generally in good shape though there were a larger than usual number of unrepaired ball marks which I blame on golfers who are not making the required repairs. I am not that good of a golfer but I enjoy this course because I can actually have some decent scores there. Good course for moderate players who want to improve their game.
For the average hacker its tough to keep the ball in play.
It almost seems like an executive course with short par 3s and fives and some longer par 4s. Seems to be about 6 holes where you can lose many balls.
Short but very tight
Short course but you need to have accuracy. Good place to work on your iron shots.
Not as hard as advertised. Enjoyable to play.
I had never played the course before and was looking for something new. I got a good deal from Golf Now otherwise the average price to play is not equal to the course. I will definitely try to play this course again.
Very challenging course
Course is well maintained, and requires strategic play. Great course.
Goofy Golf
The positives: Good price, great customer service, beautiful scenery.
The not-so-positives: No driving range. Quirky, hard to find location.
The awful: First, there was the pace of play. We teed off at 10:30 on a Saturday morning. The course wasn't particularly crowded, but it still took us just shy of 5 hours to complete the round. The course had no marshal, just once did we see a staff member on the course. (The starter, who came by on the 2nd hole to apologize for the pace of play. He suggested we enjoy the nice day. Talk about surrendering!)
But worse--much worse--is the layout. This is the most tricked-up golf course I've ever seen. In order to shove 18 holes into the land they had, and in order to be eco-friendly, the course has a ton of really weird holes and nowhere to miss shots. Worse, there were so many blind shots I felt I was playing in the dark. And on almost every hole, if you missed left, right, or long, your ball was gone. No recovery. The entire course was one long lateral hazard. Visually, you couldn't tell where to aim, either.
But the worst part about the layout--even worse than feeling like you were playing on a tightrope--was the layout of the holes. One par-5 was a 5-iron off the tee, a 9-iron lay-up (mandatory; if you went for it it was a 200-yard carry to a green you absolutely could not afford to miss), and a wedge. There were several like that, along with par-4s that required blind mid-iron shots. Yuck.
In short: I wouldn't play this course again if it was free. I wouldn't even play it if I was being paid to play there. The only thing missing was putting a blue ball through a windmill on 18 to win a free game. Goofy golf, indeed.
Short but a challenge
Friendly staff. Nice pro shop. Fairly tight fairways and out of bounds. Play more conservative to keep it in the short grass and dry. Would play again.
Quirky but fair. Love #10 but challanging.
Ball cleaners need to be filled with soapy water and towels need to be changed. Tea boxes, fairways and greens always in great condition. Tight course and will lose a lot of balls if you can't hit it straight. Target course.
